The POLOS® UC410 is a compact tabletop ultrasonic spray coating system developed for high-precision work in R&D, small-batch manufacturing, and medical device production. It is widely used for applying thin, functional coatings to components such as stents, balloon catheters, glass substrates, fuel cells, and solar cell materials.
Designed specifically for stent coating
Optimized for implantable medical stents, particularly arterial stents, the UC410 utilizes patented ultrasonic spray technology to deliver highly uniform coatings across complex geometries. The fine mist produced by the ultrasonic nozzle ensures complete surface coverage without webbing, bridging, or material buildup, even on intricate stent structures. This results in consistent coating quality while significantly reducing material waste.
Proven ultrasonic performance
Ultrasonic spray coating is a well-established method for depositing anti-restenosis polymers and other functional layers onto implantable stents. Compared with conventional air-assisted spraying, ultrasonic technology enables finer droplet control, superior penetration into complex structures, and repeatable, high-uniformity results.
